William Welstead was from a young age an avid collector of Baltic amber, cornelian, fossils and pebbles with holes in them. After discovering the local stones of the Himalayas, during his travels, he was hooked and started to study gemmology in London.
Today, William designs handcrafted jewellery pieces with both custom-cut and natural untreated stones. He uses simple sculptural settings that allow the beauty of the stone to shine through. Each of his pieces are handmade in England.
