Ring in 18k yellow gold with a hammered band and a 4.56ct oval faceted garnet. Features a bezel setting.
This type of garnet is called Malaia, which is Swahili for "the one without family". It has a deep reddish orange colour and is found in the Umba Valley in East Africa. In Ancient Greece and Rome, garnets were worn as a protective talisman as a shield from negativity.
